YOUR MARBLE EXPERTS

Marble in sedimentary form begins as dolomite or limestone. It must then be subjected to very high pressure and heat.

Marble contains calcium carbonate, which is a very soft mineral.

Marble is considered the luxurious classic of stone, and has been in use as a countertop surface for well over 2000 years.  Marble can be used in a variety of applications, such as kitchen countertops, wall splashes, table tops, flooring, showers, vanities and of course furniture. However, there are several considerations to keep in mind when choosing various colors of marble. Contact us today, and we will be happy to help you with the process.  Visit our instagram page to see a showcase of projects we have completed in many colors of marble.

Marble stones can create a classic elegance look to modern and contemporary design styles in a space. Marble is available in a variety of Colors, Patterns and Textures.

Two common surface finishes for marble are Polished and Honed (Matte). Kitchens have a lot of food ingredients, and products in use. Food acids like Lemon juice, Wines and Vinegar can etch the surfaces of marbles.  Etching basically removes a layer of the stone from the surface of the marble and changes the finish. The Acid attacks the Calium Carbonate mineral in marble by breaking it down. Fortunately with the advent of technology, there is a product that we can apply to the surface of your marble which will eliminate Etching, Scratches and Staining. Love marble just as much as we do? Of course you do!! A consideration then is, We always suggest a honed finish or also known as a matte flat finish.  In a matte finish, the marble less prone to showing acid attacks, however it absolutely will still etch, unless we apply our Stone Shield film.  As you will see in a few examples in the pictures below jobs that we have completed, marble can be used in a variety of applications.
